FAQs

  • Lost Canyon is located in Williams, AZ and is a resort-style camp with cabins, club room, dining hall, pool, indoor basketball courts, and So much more! Click Here to learn more about the camp.

  • Each weekend has a 'loose' itinerary that we follow that allows for flexibility and changes throughout the weekend as needed. However, the weekend begins after you arrive at camp Friday evening with our first speaker session followed by cabin time to connect with others in your cabin. Saturday starts with breakfast, followed by a session and some more cabin time and connecting with other men. Lunch is followed by 'free time' that has planned and unplanned activities for men of all ages. The evening wraps up with dinner and another session and cabin time. Sunday morning breakfast is followed by our last session and group communion outside on the field.

  • Well... as the name implies, the weekend is intended for MEN! Therefore, we do have a minimum age requirement of 18 years of age to attend. Also, think about it ahead of time, if you want to be placed in to a cabin with your son or father. Often we hear that one or the other may feel uncomfortable sharing and opening up when in the presence of a family member, so sometimes we see family members split up - but this is entirely up to you to choose how you would like to room.

  • Cabin time is often one of the most powerful times we hear about at camp. It is a time for guys in your cabin to share something from the session that spoke to them, or something they just want to get off their chest and open up to other men about. Also, sometimes guys may choose not to share at all, and that is totally fine as well. Each cabin will often has a discussion 'leader' assigned to help kick things off for the group, but we typically see guys having no problem opening up during cabin time.

  • Camp will officially open at 5pm, so please do not plan to arrive prior to that. Dinner is 'on your own' Friday evening, so we encourage guys to grab dinner on the way up or to eat at one of William’s restaurants.

  • Most guys are packed up and on the road by 11:30am-12:00pm.

  • Cabins are assigned by 316 Retreat management and provided to your church group for individual room assignments. Be sure when you register that you let your church leaders know whom you would like to room with.

  • The camp does offer free WiFi throughout the camp, and cellular coverage at camp is available by most all carriers. However, please know that we will be encouraging you to 'disconnect' while you are at camp and take some time to just be in the presence of God with others.

  • The camp provides all bed linens (sheets, blanket, pillow and pillow case) along with a towel. Many guys do prefer to bring their own pillow, some bring a sleeping bag, others bring a pool towel, and some just come with the clothes on their back. Showers are in each cabin room that houses 10, 12, or 14 guys. We encourage everyone to bring their Bible, sunscreen, chapstick, water bottle, comfortable shoes for walking, and any other comforts of home they might need.

  • Absolutely! Once you are registered by your church with 316 Retreat, we will send a link for anyone with Dietary Restrictions to fill out. This form goes straight to the camp and they will purchase and make the necessary arrangements. Once at camp, simply let your server know at each meal that you have a dietary meal and they will get it for you from the kitchen.

  • There are SO many options that are provided by the camp, and many that are provided by 316 Retreat. Depending on weather and staffing, some of the available activities include Zip-Line, Rock Wall Climb, Swimming and Hottub, Basketball, Wiffleball, Cornhole, Frisbee Golf, Hiking, Mountain Biking (bring your own bike), and more. If you have any questions about activities, please reach out to us and let us know.

  • Drones are not allowed over the camp unless being used for multimedia purposes. In addition, each pilot must posess all license and endorsements for flying (TRUST) along with insurance coverage required by the camp. If you are planning to bring your drone for this purpose, please let us know ahead of time so we can coordinate with the camp.

  • Firearms are NOT allowed to be at camp. However, we know some guys may come up to shoot before camp or during free time at local spots, but all firearms must remain locked and stored in your vehicle at all time while on camp property. This includes no cleaning, showing each other your precious armory, or anything involving even touching them!
